Browser support
Chrome is recommended. Firefox and Safari have limited support for screen capture APIs and may not record system audio.
Audio
System audio capture requires sharing a browser tab (not a window or entire screen). Microphone audio is optional and can be toggled on/off during recording.
Format & playback
Recordings use the Opus audio codec. MP4 files play best in browsers — some desktop players (like VLC) may have audio issues. Use WebM format if you need reliable playback in external apps.
Camera overlay
When camera is active, the final download merges the camera overlay into the video. This processing happens locally in your browser and may take a moment.
